Jess opened her mouth to protest when he threw her clothes across the room, but smiled when he kissed her. Well, she didn't mind that... As he spoke, her face turned white. ' Someone as thick as you. ' Did he know she couldn't read? How had he found out? They'd never met before... Why did he say that his name wasn't James? She opened her mouth several times, trying to vocalize her questions. " What are you talking about? " It was a whisper that wouldn't have been heard had he not been so close to her. " Who are you? " It sounded ridiculous; as well as him saying ' even someone as thick as you can probably work it out ', it sounded like something from a bad film.
She pulled away from him as he grabbed her wrist, and struggled against his stronger hand. " Let go. Now. " Her voice was about to crack, and she blinked as she realized there were tears in her eyes. ' With a body like that... ' Jess thought she was going to throw up for a moment. She swallowed a few times, forcing herself not to cry. He'd called her Jessie and princess. He hadn't said Jessie- the thing that Morph (and Layla, now) called her, so it couldn't be either of them. She blinked. Of course it wasn't either of them. She was starting to feel really sick, her confusion not helping any.
Jess took several deep breaths and tried to think about the situation logically. He must be someone that had met her, unless he'd come up with comments based on her intellect from their few words. But how could she have forgotten when they met? Unless it was someone in the chat... She thought back. Who actually came on chat, aside from Morph, Layla, Yvonne and herself? Laura did, but it wasn't her. Unless she was lying about being called Laura? No; she was too thick to come up with something like lying about her identity. She'd stuck her finger in an electric socket because Morph and Rio told her to, for Gods sake.
Morph and Rio? She stared into space, feeling dizzy. Rio had called her princess before. He knew Morph, who knew she couldn't read. What did he say he'd been diagnosed with? Jess couldn't remember, but she was guessing at compulsive lying. But it couldn't be Rio. If it was...well, that was bad. Very bad. Because it was sure to get back to Morph, it so. And that was just...she blinked, causing several tears to drip down her cheeks. " Rio? " she guessed, quietly. " Please... " She didn't even know what she was begging - asking - him to do, and let her voice trail off.

Rio smirked. As he'd expected, she took several moments of mumbling and spluttering in confusion before she figured it. He gently caressed her cheek with his thumb, the tenderness of his actions and voice in stark contrast to his words. "Please what, princess? What do you want?" He knew exactly what she wanted- for him not to mention it to anyone, ever, but if he could make her beg for it, he would. Besides, he was going to tell Morph, and he might as well get some fun out of it anyway.
He held her wrist still effortlessly. She was so weak, he couldn't believe she'd managed to make it through the sex without disintegrating, but there you have it. People surprised you. He held her hand and her face, smirking at her fruitless struggled against him. After a few moments of letting her struggle in silence, he added, "Jessie, darling, if you want something, say so. I can't read minds," Hopefully, she'd take the hint. He could already feel warm tears dripping onto his hand, and he carefully brushed them away with his thumb.
It had been a while since he'd had this much fun, and now he realised how much he'd missed it. It was OK to entertain yourself with upsetting a few shrinks, giving a few kids breakdowns, but there was nothing that beat this feeling, knowing you'd given someone something that would last them a very long time, possibly even the rest of their lives. Jessie, for sure, wouldn't be taking anything on faith for a while and hopefully she'd also learned a little humility. If not, well. He'd just have to try again, and there would be a lot less sex involved next time. Letting go of her face with his hand, he reached back and turned on the light. Looking at her critically for a few more minutes, he released her hand, and pulled on his jeans. Then he turned to grin at her. "Sweetheart, you really do have problems with your weight. You ought to be more careful with your body."

Jess flinched away at Rio's touch; she felt sick with horror that she'd let this boy - a friend of Morph's, for Gods sake - touch her. She bit her lip, wondering if she should kick him, but not liking her chances of coming away intact if she did. His hold on her wrist was shit-strong, and she thought that he could most likely snap it, even with a broken wrist of his own. She decided that she'd go for his wrist, if she needed - maybe if she punched it, he'd drop her hand and she could run. Wait; she had no clothes - they were somewhere in the darkness across the room. She wouldn't be able to get them unless he let her; fuck.
" Just... " She struggled for words for a few moments. " Let me go? " she asked pathetically. What if he didn't? He might be some psycho... Might? He was a psycho, who was possibly intent on raping and torturing and murdering her. A sudden thought crossed her mind and she froze, staring at Rio. He might tell Morph. That would be bad. Morph would say things and it'd be humiliating... Jess tried to control her breathing, wondering if she was likely to have a panic attack. Maybe. She weighed up the pros and cons of begging Rio not to tell Morph. For pros, she had that it might work, and then he wouldn't find out. On the other hand, the embarrassment - especially if he ignored her pleas - made her feel sick to think of.
" Just let me go, okay? " She debated adding a 'please' in there, but decided against. She wanted to sound authoritive, commanding. As the light was flicked on, she shrieked, pulling the duvet over her body awkwardly with one hand. She wiped her eyes quickly, hoping he hadn't noticed she saw crying, and pulled the blanket up higher, wishing there was some way she could secure it. What if Rio pulled it away? She'd wrap her legs around the bottom, but her legs were her worst feature... At his words, she froze, only moving to swallow in a bid not to throw up. What should she do? Go for the cocky, 'yeah, I'm disgustingly fat and I don't give a shit' attitude? No. That wasn't something she could pull off.
Jess closed her eyes. " I'm trying, but they make me eat. " They: people in general; aimed at the staff team specifically. It could also be taken to mean Layla; the lovely girl who'd forced her to eat her own hair and blood. At the memory, she winced. What if Riordan was another psycho that wanted to feed her her own body parts? There were way too many of those around for her liking.

He stood over her, grinning at her panic. She wasn't pulling the whole defiant-not-scared-of-you shit, but she wasn't angry either, which left panicked. That wasn't really what he'd been hoping for; angry people were so much more fun, but it would have to do. Folding his arms, he leaned against the wall by the door, watching her squealing under the duvet. The girl was nuts, really. It was disgusting. He opened the door a crack, peering down the corridor, wondering how long that goddamn nurse was going to take. He didn't object, but really, they could be off killing each other and she was probably back there having a cup of coffee. This place's standards were so lax, it was revolting.
Mind you, that left cracks in the system, which could be exploited for maximum entertainment value, something Rio didn't have any objections to. He didn't reply to her pathetic pleas to let her go. They both knew he wouldn't, not without more than that, at least. Smirking, he rested his head back against the doorframe, watching the lump huddled under the duvet. "Princess, I'm just giving you some advice. The rate you're going... well, just watch out, OK? It's not healthy. And this place isn't exactly helpful to people like you, you might have noticed." Only because there are people like me here, though. If no-one else came here, you'd be fine within a few years. So, we're just making life so much harder for you and them.
Rio smirked down at her, wondering when she'd come out and talk again. When, or if, that was. After a few minutes of that, he sighed, stretched, and pulled on his t-shirt. Patting the lump under the duvet affectionately, he drawled, "See you around, sweetheart," and strolled out of the room.
