Rio felt her freeze in his arms, and smiled slightly, continuing to kiss the side of her face gently. He brushed his lips across the side of her jaw and trailed them down to her neck, feeling the tendons stand out as she stiffened, and it was all he could do not to laugh at her terror. He didn't, though, simply continued to kiss her gently on the neck, wondering how long he could keep this up for before she freaked and bolted. She wasn't responding, though, which was... well, disappointing, to say the least. "Because," he closed his eyes for a brief minute, savouring the moment, before grabbing her hair and twisting her head so she was looking him straight in the eyes, closer than was comfortable for her and most likely painful, for her neck and head. "I pitied you. I thought that maybe, just maybe you'd get better with time. I thought you were just shy, I just had to get to know you... but I was wrong. You're like this all the way through, useless, pathetic and terrified of everything. So desperate to please, so fucking predictable," his voice was savage, "No amount of change on the surface will ever get rid of the real you, and we both know it. No, princess, this is the way it's going to be," with that, he bent his head forwards and kissed her hard on the lips, pushing her back down onto the bed, the thrill rushing through his body once more. This was the whole reason he existed. Heck, if it hadn't sounded so fucking cheesy, he would say it was his calling. He was a natural at it, the best he'd ever met, and he deserved this... as did Leah. Everything he'd said to her had been cold, hard truth, when he thought about it.

Leah was trying her best to stop herself screaming and begging Rio to stop. He'd kissed her like this before, just twenty minutes or so ago, and it had been just as horrible then... No, it was meant to be good. Most people liked it, didn't they? Normal people did, which explained why it made her cry harder. The sudden jerk to her hair made her squeak in pain, moving her head closer to Rio just to stop her hair being pulled. Their faces were close together and she looked into his eyes, still trying to control her weak sobbing.
”You...pitied me?” It sounded stupid and pathetic; just parroting back what he had said to her, but Leah was having trouble comprehending his words. Why would someone date another, just because they felt pity? Well, she reminded herself, that was why Louise had dated her. People just did that, apparently. ”I’m not pathetic,” she argued, blushing as she did so. It was true that she was useless, and it was true that she was terrified of everything, that she was desperate to please and predictable. Overall, Rio was right... "I'll change, I'll do whatever, I promise," she begged, her words being cut off with a hard kiss. Rio was lying above her, almost crushing her with her weight, and Leah couldn't help but struggle to get away from underneath him.
Pushing hard against his chest, she threw herself off the bed, stumbling to her feet when she hit the floor and moving away to crouch by the wall. "I'm sorry," she wailed, not making any move to go back towards Rio. Leaning her head against the wall, she stared at him blankly, willing him to come and hug her, or something. Not just say more mean stuff...Leah didn't think she could handle that.

Rio moved off her when she began to struggle, watching her impassively as she curled up by the wall, and shook her head when he was sure she was watching him. "Princess, you aren't ever going to change, but maybe one day you'll find someone just as dull and boring as you and you can settle down together and live happily ever after. Maybe you could try your new roommate," he drawled, pushing himself upright and heading to the door. Before he left, he turned and leaned against it again, watching her appraisingly. After a brief minute of silence, he spoke again. "Well honey, I'm a bit upset. I think that apology is well deserved, don't you?" He smiled coldly, blew her a kiss and walked out of the door.
Hopefully, his last words had had an effect; she might not be able to stand being told she'd upset him. He grinned to himself as he contemplated the damage he had caused her. Not his best work ever, perhaps, but well done, and very efficient nonetheless. Now the only thing he had to worry about was the lunatics she hung around with; Manuel, Chris and Kitty, Maddox... the rest of her music class. He doubted all of them would come after him, but he could see a lot of anger on her behalf heading his way. All the same, he was proud of what he had done, and nothing was going to bring him down for a little while. Until he began to get bored again. Which reminded him, he needed a new project, someone else to work on... he could go and pay Faye a visit... He chuckled softly to himself as he sauntered down the corridor towards his dorm, before changing his mind. If Reuben was in there, his good mood would be ruined. He turned and instead headed outside into the sunlight.
