These files are merely the product of a professional interest, and they are not used by any psychiatrists unless they have been specifically requested. Jarrad keeps them locked securely in a drawer in his apartment, filed alphabetically by surname. Each file is identical, neatly typed out, and a few have extra notes on small bits of paper stuffed in them.

Student has left St Dympha's
Name: Laura Otillie Richardson Age: Fourteen Appearance: 5"2, approx. 108lbs, blonde, blue eyes, Caucasian. Multiple scars. Diagnosis: Stockholm Sydrome, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Dependent Personality Disorder Medical history: Unknown Family medical history: Her father was bipolar, and her mother suffered from postnatal depression. She lived with a schizophrenic uncle, but he wasn't a blood relative. Personal History: She was bought up by her uncle by marriage, a schizophrenic, after her mother died due to an operation gone wrong. She suffered abuse at the hands of both her father and uncle, and although the father's abuse was to a greater extent, it was less frequent than the uncle's. She was hospitalized four times, once for cracked ribs and once for a broken leg, and then twice while living with foster carers due to her self harming. During the time with her uncle, she was rarely allowed to leave the house, and so she spent much of her time drawing, years which culminated in her current talent levels. At the age of thirteen, she ran away from her uncles apartment, after being made to go without food for several days. She attempted to steal food, and subsequently was caught. This led to her uncle being arrested and sent to high-security psychiatric ward, for an indefinite period of time. She was sent to a foster family and a psychologist, who diagnosed her. It was during this time that she twice had to be sent to hospital for self induced injuries. She was also sent to a public high school, but often didn't go. She had a lot of trouble there; panic attacks were frequent, due to contact with the other children, and she was repeatedly told that she was wrong, something she refused to accept, which caused trouble with the teachers. She played truant a lot, and was on the verge of expulsion when she was given a place at St Dympha's.
Important points: - She claims she can't take pills - She refuses to tell us the 'rules' her uncle gave her - She claims she can't: cry, come into contact with other people, which leads to panic attacks
Problems with treatment: She throws away medication, claims she can't have friends, and isn't 'allowed' to tell us certain things.
Her beliefs: - She is evil - Pain/injury makes the evil lesser, at least for a short while - She kills people via contact, both physical and emotional - Her uncle is absolutely right
As far as we can guess, her rules include: - No touching - No being rude - No friends And, paradoxically, no telling people the rules
Conclusion: While in early life, she probably believed her uncle due to her DPD; however, this has developed into an entirely separate belief, one in which idolization of her uncle is a key feature. If we can treat the Stockholm Syndrome, her DPD is likely to become less influential over her, making her more susceptible to the idea that her uncle was wrong. The inability to take medication, however, presents problems. We can try counseling therapy, and if necessary we can get hold of medicines in liquid form.
Notes: - Has she ever considered suicide? If so, why not go through with it? There are no recorded attempts at suicide on her file. If not, why not? It seems an obvious solution to her perceived problems. - Drawing is a good activity to calm her down.

Student has been transferred to another facility
Name: Katherine "Kitty" Daisy Allen Age: Fifteen Appearance: Caucasian, brown hair, brown eyes, dark. Approx. 5"3, 120lbs Diagnosis: Elective mutism, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder Medical history: Unknown. Both her and her brother have had chickenpox. Family medical history: Unknown.
Personal History: Kitty was abused by her parents and sister from a young age, physically, emotionally and sexually. At the age of six, she stopped talking completely, due to something her father said to her. It is unknown what, even by Chris. It is believed that when she misbehaved, she was forced to watch her brother being abused. However, while the twins were homeschooled, they were allowed outside, meaning that they did have contact with the outside world. At fourteen years old, they were considered old enough to do the family's shopping. They took advantage of this, walking to a police station and reporting their family. All three of the abusers were caught trying to leave the country, and sentenced to life imprisonment. The twins were sent to a foster family.
Important points: - Refuses to be parted from her brother - Appears to have a fear of authority figures - Will write notes occasionally - Is able to communicate with Chris without speaking or using any recognizable sign language
Problems with treatment: It is difficult to try and persuade her to talk with her brother in the room, as he will talk for her. She cannot be found on her own, as Chris will always be with her, which means he will be present for therapy. If the two are separated, no progress will be made, as she will simply curl up and cry.
Conclusion: It might be best to attempt to treat the PTSD before the separation anxiety and mutism, as splitting the two up now will simply result in panic attacks; once she has recovered from her PTSD, it is possible that the separation anxiety disorder will become less of a factor, as she will be more comfortable with being without Chris. However, it is only speculation at this point. Also, treating PTSD will make treating the mutism a lot easier. Notes: - Continuity is a must - Logic and reason don't effect them much, so there is not way of talking them out of the separation anxiety disorder

Student has been transferred to another facility
Name: Christopher David Allen Age: 15 Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown eyes, Caucasian, approx. 5"10, 155lbs Diagnosis: Post-traumatic stress disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, separation anxiety Medical history: None. Both twins have had chickenpox. Family medical history: Unknown.
Personal History: From a young age, Chris was abused by his mother, father and older sister. He and his twin, Kitty, were often forced the stay locked in the attic for days on end with no food or water. He was homeschooled, but allowed out of the house, giving him contact with the outside world. At the age of fourteen, he was able to leave and do the family's grocery shopping with Kitty. The two took this opportunity to go to the police and convince them about the abuse. After that, they were sent to a foster school together, but had trouble there. The foster family attempted to split them up, and they had a lot of trouble in school, due to the fact that their education had been severely neglected by their parents.
Important points: - Cannot be taken away from Kitty. This will trigger his IED - He is apparently unsure how to say 'no' without being aggressive. This is probably due to his lack of social experience - His education was neglected, and he is far behind in most subjects - He is unsure of social etiquette. This ties in with my previous point about saying 'no'; his lack of education means he is unsure how to act, and this leads to his becoming hostile
Problems with treatment: He won't be separated from kitty, which makes private counseling sessions difficult. He is also very bad with authority figures, mistrustful of them and usually very hostile towards them. He is an extremely hostile boy, very aggressive and quick to anger, especially when it comes to Kitty.
Conclusion: See Kitty Notes: - Keep away from Riordan Shonski - Continuity must be kept
